The President's Message
Here at Valley State Bank, we know just what that word means. Home is where our parents were born and where their parents were born before them. Home is a great place to raise our children, a great place to work, and a great place to live. We understand that the very foundation of our home is the hard working people that live here and who have poured their souls into our community to ensure that it continues to be a wonderful place to call home.
Valley State Bank is a locally owned and operated bank that was formed with one simple operating principle: To provide the members of our community with the best financial services to help them achieve their financial goals.
Our staff here at Valley State Bank has decades of experience in banking. We are committed to providing the financial services that our community deserves...because it is our community as well as yours.
I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our page. I look forward to the opportunity to do business with each and every one of you.
With a focus on community and service, Robert (Buddy) I. Rogers founded Valley State Bank in 1985. Over 30 years later, that tradition continues under the leadership of Chairman of the Board, Robert (Bob) I. Rogers, Jr., CEO Jim Davis, and President, Robert I. (Ike) Rogers, III.
Our first home was a modular structure located on Hwy 43 next to the Franklin County Times. A few short years later in 1988, we built the current Main Office of Valley State Bank. In 1993, eight years after we were chartered by the State of Alabama, our Littleville Office was opened to serve Colbert County. To continue to expand the service area for our customers, we opened the Downtown Office in 2001, followed by a full service branch in Red Bay in 2007.
Valley State Bank will be closed on the following days so our dedicated team of employees can spend time with their friends and families.
Need to handle banking during the holidays? No problem. You can access your accounts anywhere, anytime through our secure Online Banking.
